We walked along the tiny winding cottage-country road in the autumn sun, a cool gentle breeze ruffling our hair and sending the multicoloured leaves skittering down the asphalt in front of us. When we arrived at the summer resort, closed up for the season, we felt a little uneasy about trespassing, but it didn’t stop our laughter and lunacy from spilling out across the sparkling blue bay.
