This figurative hand-built groundhog sculpture is crafted using non-firing clay and has a unique, artisanal look and feel. The finished piece is painted using Golden heavy body acrylics and protected with a matte varnish.

This funny dude was commissioned by a fellow artist in my area, which made it extra special to me. She asked that he have what is colloquially known as "resting b*tch face*, which never ceases to amuse me. When I delivered the final piece to her, she exclaimed in joy "how did you manage to make him look both snooty AND cute"???
