The friendly equine
I encountered the subject for this acrylic painting while driving home from Toronto one rainy afternoon in late winter. They looked so cute that I had to stop and say hello. I couldn't quite get right up to the fence, so this smart horse walked over to a gate a little ways away to let me know that we could get close to each other there. It surprises me that some people think horses are of limited intelligence. I look forward to our next visit!
